BrixRae Hybrid Steam Engine: Team & Progress

Our Story

Created From Real Fleet Experience

BrixRae was founded by Brian Fabian after experiencing the challenges of operating a trucking company firsthand.

Rising diesel costs, expensive emissions-system repairs and the practical limitations of conventional electric trucks led to a different question:

Why replace the entire truck when we can replace the technology that powers it?

That question became the foundation of the BrixRae hybrid electric–steam engine platform—a system designed around the economic and operational realities fleet owners face every day.

Development Progress

Moving from Engineering to Road Deployment

BrixRae has completed the primary engineering and CAD development of its patent-pending powertrain and has established relationships with specialized engineering, casting and component-manufacturing partners.

The company is now advancing toward:

  • Prototype component production
  • Engine and induction steam generator assembly
  • Integrated bench and dynamometer testing
  • Installation in a Class 8 truck
  • Controlled road testing
  • Independent performance validation
  • Initial commercial production

BrixRae’s target is to reach initial road deployment approximately six to nine months after receiving the required prototype funding.
